Desk-fast not breakfast

Are "desk-fasts" taking over from breakfasts?

No longer are we settling down to the traditional full English breakfast, but the typical breakfast choice to eat at your desk when you arrive at work is a Danish and coffee. (Unless you're a hard-pressed hack on the early turn looking for a bacon sarnie shop!)

Or teenagers prefer a can of pop and some crisps on the way into school or college.

Apparently, many workers now eat at their desk, some eat breakfast in their car and a very small amount eat it in a restaurant or café.

Teenagers may skip it altogether - many leave the house with nothing to eat in the mornings. Are sandwich shops cashing in? What do the dieticians make of it?

Try to find some typical workers and students to see what they do and build a story around how to get back on track.
