Texting from your hols

Text messaging is apparently replacing the traditional holiday postcard.

When we go away we're more likely to text the folks back home than drop them a line on the back of a sea view.

Mobile phone shops are getting more and more inquiries about the costs of texting from around the world.

Does this non-written communication lack the personal touch, or does it still make us smile like a good old postcard would?

How would you feel if you got a text message instead of a picture postcard?

And isn't writing a postcard part of your holiday?

Talk to the phone shops, travel agents and people you know who like a card dropping through the letterbox.
