Welcome to our obituaries section where we remember the lives of those local and regional press journalists who are no longer with us.

At the moment the index covers only those journalists who have died since June 2008 but our intention is eventually to extend this to include all journalist obitiuaries that have appeared on HoldtheFrontPage since the site was launched in 2000.

If you know of any journalist who should be included, please let us know by emailing editor.htfp@and.co.uk

You can leave your own personal tributes to these journalists in the comments or alternatively visit their pages at the obituaries site Lasting Tribute which now has a special section dedicated to journalists.
