The Media School at Bournemouth University pioneers professionally-based education for journalists working across a range of media including print, radio, television and the Internet. Multi-skilling defines these groundbreaking Bournemouth courses and the BA (Hons) Multi-media Journalism course is the only course in the UK to be accredited by all three professional bodies – the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), The Periodicals Training Council (PTC) and the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC). The MA Multi-Media Journalism course is the first in the UK to explore the full potential of multi-platform (convergent) news publishing and is accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council.
